The City of Red Lodge is an approved affiliate member of the Montana Main Street Program, administered by the Community Development Division of the Montana Department of Commerce. The Montana Main Street Program helps communities strengthen and preserve their historic downtown commercial districts by focusing on economic development, urban revitalization and historic preservation through proactive long-range planning, organization, design and promotion.
The Red Lodge Main Street Program Committee will focus on the following:
- Economic Vitality: This point emphasizes capital, incentives, and financial tools to support businesses and property development.
- Design: Enhancing the physical appearance of commercial districts through improvements like signage and landscaping.
- Promotion: Creating a positive image for the district through marketing and community events.
