Recycling Logo

Recycling drop-offs are welcomed every Wednesday and Saturday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the conveniently situated Recycling Center, positioned at 1222 Haggin Ave N, Red Lodge, MT 59068.

Business drop-offs are facilitated on Thursdays, running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

To ensure the high quality of our recycled materials, kindly take a moment to wash any soiled items before bringing them in. Additionally, we encourage you to sort your recyclables in advance. If needed, there's a designated area by the Center entrance where you can conveniently sort your items without obstructing the flow of other visitors. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Where does your recycling go?

Recyclable materials are collected by various dedicated teams and transported to a specialized processing facility. At this facility, the items undergo a thorough cleaning process to remove contaminants and are subsequently prepared for transport to either a milling facility or, in some cases, directly to a manufacturing facility. Notably, in 2023, the City of Red Lodge has successfully diverted a remarkable 282,130 pounds of recyclable materials from the waste stream.
