What is the Stormwater Project?

In 2017 the City identified the need to assess the overall storm system and how it affects the capacity for wastewater treatment. From this assessment, a few problem areas were identified where stormwater drained to the sanitary sewer. The project will reduce the amount of stormwater runoff that enters the sanitary sewer, decreasing treatments costs and increasing capacity for growth.
